Strut Your Mutt with Mercy Cares

Strut Your Mutt is a series of charity dog walks that brings communities together to raise money and save the lives of homeless pets. When you fundraise, you choose where your support goes!

Why is the Mercy Cares team walking to raise money at Strut Your Mutt?

Mercy Cares raises funds to help pets in need. Through our full service, low cost animal clinic, we are able to help homeless pets in need and reduce pet homelessness. This is made possible through our amazing donors and fundraising with people like you! Here are some of the pets we have helped and will be walking for:

Laila, who we treated after she had been attacked with a machete. Look at how well she has recovered!

Harper, who had lost all of his hair due to mange, needed vaccines and a place to stay while he healed up. He stayed at Mercy pet clinic for weeks until his foster family was able to take him in!

Gizmo and Trixie, who suddenly found themselves homeless after their guardian passed away. They received much needed treatment for skin conditions at our clinic and also stayed with us until the amazing rescue community of Houston took them in.

Mona, who we vaccinated, groomed, spayed, and gave her a place to stay after she was found running on the streets, starving and dodging cars.

The veterinarians and staff at Mercy Pet Clinic understand the enormous problem of homeless animals in Houston and thats why we provide compassionate, comprehensive, and affordable care. Working with shelters, rescue groups, and low-income individuals, the Mercy team not only saves lives but also helps keep animals in their homes.

Donations are needed to cover the costs of treatments such as spay, neuter, x-rays, heart-worm treatment, dental work, and so much more. Your gift will help animals who are ill or injured, receive critical care they need.

The Strut Your Mutt event is Saturday, September 28th at Stude Park, 1031 Stude St. Houston, TX 77007. To join our team or make a donation, check out our page here.

Together we can make difference for the animals.
